Classes
Shimmy n Sheik offers Belly Dance classes throughout the Illawarra from Corrimal, in the northern suburbs of Wollongong, to the Shoalhaven in Bomaderry. We cover beginners classes right through to performance level. Primarily the classes are classical egyptian and cabaret style. However, we also cover egytpian folkoric styles.

We retain the right to withdraw classes if less than 5 students have enrolled.
It is requested that all students try to be on time for class. However, if you can't get there on time please be sure to not disrupt the class when you arrive.
Although we love it when our students have a good time, we ask that you please be considerate when talking in class. It makes it very difficult for the teacher if she has to talk over others.
Students wishing to perform must attend at least 80% of classes and rehearsals. This rule is to ensure performers are well rehearsed for public performances. Although we are an amateur troupe, there is no reason why we can't be as professional as possible.
